Frequently asked questions
Will this spacer fit my existing UK single socket or switch?
It is sized to the standard UK single footprint of 86 x 86mm and fits all standard UK 1-gang light-switch and single-socket plates. It works with metal and dry-lining plasterboard 1-gang boxes.
What screws do I need and are they supplied?
You need longer M3.5 faceplate screws to suit the added 15mm depth. These screws are not included with the spacer.
How do I know if 15mm is the right depth?
This 15mm spacer suits tile-on-adhesive or shiplap. If the wall stands proud by a single layer of tiles or thick wallpaper, use 10mm. For deep panelling, slat walls or acoustic boards, use 20mm.
